Ross and I decided that so Ronnie didn’t get lonely, we would get him a new friend to keep him company.
So, on Saturday, after we had buried Harry, we went to the pet shop and came home with Charlie. He’s two months old, very cheeky, and seems to get on very well with Ronnie.

One of our Guinea Pigs, Harry, sadly died in his sleep while he was on his holidays over Christmas and New Year. There appears to be no obvious reason for his death, as he was only a year old and seemed to be in good health. The owner of the boarding house has said it was very much a surprise to find him as he seemed fine the night before, and was eating well.
Ross and I will be holding a funeral for him tomorrow, Saturday 7th January.
We hope to get a new friend for Ronnie in the near future so he doesn’t get too lonely.
