The pathology is in and guess what? The chemotherapy worked! There was no trace of cancer in the nodes and no cancer in the breast. This is called a complete pathological response and is really really good news.

The treatment won’t change, the mastectomy was still required and the current plan for another round of chemotherapy and radiotherapy still stand. They are the belt and braces to ensure Julia’s healthy future. So we have some rocky days ahead but this the best news!
